Belper is the only market town located at the heart of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, which has inspired our locally themed rooms, which are the perfect pitstop whilst visiting this beautiful town. 
We don't currently offer breakfast but we are in walking distance to lots of lovely local eateries & we are happy to provide recommendations. We look forward to welcoming you to The George & Dragon.

For all telephone bookings we kindly ask for a £30 non refundable deposit

Dogs are also welcome upon request at no extra charge. If you wish to bring your dog we kindly ask you let us know at time of booking.

Please note: Check in is from 3pm – due to the pub not opening until this time. If you require an earlier check in – Please let us know before your arrival date and where possible we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We do not offer breakfast and are only a Wet pub – so room rates are for ROOM ONLY. We are happy to offer suggestions for some wonderful places to eat in and around Belper.

We do have limited parking available, however unfortunately this cannot be reserved. There is alternative parking nearby if unable to park at the pub’s carpark.
